Designed to provide the next steps in the development of wine knowledge, participants will gain the skills required for wine and hospitality career supervisors.
This course provides a greater depth of product knowledge across a broad range of Australian and international wine. It will focus on comparative varietal tastings and comprehensive tasting note development across a broad range of wines.
Qualification: Certificate II in Hospitality
Pre Requisites: The course is open to all students who demonstrate successful completion of equivalent ‘introductory’ wine courses or sufficient wine trade experience accompanied by references.
Duration: 22.5 hours (this includes a 60 minute written assessment plus a 30 minute blind tasting of two wines)
Delivery: The course is presented over two and three quarter days
Time: 9.00am - 5.30pm over two days and 9.00am - 2.30pm on the third day
